School Violence, Safety and Intervention Task Force

The NADD School Violence, Safety, and Intervention Task Force is charged with the task of address the issue of school violence and safety through the gathering and dissemination of data that supports mental health treatment and school-based intervention/prevention services that address the gun violence epidemic that is plaguing the United States of America. The long term goal of the task force is for NADD to take a leadership role within the social work community through the formulation and promotion of a national agenda to increase funding to help prevent children from suffering from isolation, bullying, abuse, and related mental health effects within our schools.

Additionally, the task force is charged with examining the dramatic expansion of firearms in violence in America.
